- Nearly $100 million approved in U.S. Small Business Administration low-interest disaster loans to 2,585 households and businesses
- More than $13 million approved for Other Needs Assistance, which includes serious needs such as personal property, transportation, medical and dental expenses, eyeglass replacement, funeral and burial expenses
- Public Assistance funds -- to help rebuild roads, bridges, utilities, and other public infrastructure -- currently totals more than $10 million
- $86,440 in Disaster Unemployment Assistance awarded through Dec. 9 to those who lost jobs because of the disaster
Registration for disaster assistance ended Nov. 30. However, those who applied may check on the status of an application, either by phone at 800-621-FEMA (3362), online at www.DisasterAssistance.gov or by smartphone through m.FEMA.gov . Those with access or functional needs and who use a TTY may call 800-462-7585 or use 711 or Video Relay Service to call 800-621-3362. Telephone lines are open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET; multilingual operators are available.
