NYC Rules Updates ~ Week Ending December 2, 2011
The following NYC Rules update includes (1) all City agency proposed rules that remain open for written public comment; (2) adopted rules that took effect during the previous week; and (3) adopted rules soon taking effect.

Proposed Rules Open for Written Public Comment
- **Taxi Receipt Advertising (TLC)--Written comments must be submitted by January 16.
- **Issuance of Revocable Land Use Permits for the Occupation or Use of City Property (DEP)--Written comments must be submitted by January 13.
- **ECB's Building Penalty Schedule (OATH/ECB)--Written comments must be submitted by December 28.
- **Tow and Storage Rates (DCA)--Written comments must be submitted by December 27.
- Issuance of Revocable Land Use Permits for the Occupation or Use of City Property (DEP)--Written comments must be submitted by January 13.
- Parking Violations (DOF)--Written comments must be submitted by December 19.
- Accessible Dispatch Taxi Rule (TLC)--Written comments must be submitted by December 15.
Adopted Rules That Took Effect During the Previous Week
- Brownfield Grants (OER)--Rule took effect November 30.
- Accessible Taxicab Specifications (TLC)--Rule took effect November 26.
- **Taxi Driver Rights Signs (TLC)--Rule takes effect December 30.
- **ECB's Water Penalty Schedule (OATH/ECB)--Rule takes effect December 25.
- **ECB's Building Penalty Schedule (OATH/ECB)--Rule takes effect December 25.
- **ECB's Department of Transportation Penalty Schedule (OATH/ECB)--Rule takes effect December 25.
- Amendment of Violation Classifications (Expired Permits) (DOB)--Rule takes effect December 10.
- Theater Subdistrict Fund Contributions (DCP)--Rule takes effect December 10.
- Sewer Control Rules Penalty Schedule (OATH/ECB)--Rule takes effect December 9.
