The other day, House Republicans voted for a third time in as many days to let Congress skip town for their holiday vacation without agreeing to an extension of the payroll tax cut, forcing a $1,000 tax hike on middle income American families.
That's right. Republicans are doing everything in their power to protect tax breaks for billionaires, but they refuse to lift a finger to protect 160 million middle income Americans facing a tax increase. It's sad that they couldn't take the time to pass the extension as it would mean ruining their vacation plans!
