Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park
Donate in December and Your Dollar Doubles!

We are only $3.5 million short of our goal and with the help of a very generous anonymous donor, every single dollar you give will be matched up to $1 million during the month of December.
The Louis I. Kahn designed Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park on Roosevelt Island will open Fall 2012 and the city is taking notice as the granite moves into place. Trees and grass will follow. Momentum is building for this grand park honoring the most important President of the 20th century in his home state.
Consider the value added to our city:
- A 4-acre park on Roosevelt Island for everyone to enjoy.
- The final work of the great American architect Louis I. Kahn.
- A history lesson on the Roosevelt Era accessible online and at the Park for school children, tourists and all visitors.
If you believe in the Four Freedoms: Freedom of Speech and Expression, Freedom of Worship,
Freedom from Want, Freedom from Fear and if you believe Franklin Roosevelt's legacy is important for new generations to understand and remember
