We got a head start on the race to take back the House in 2011, winning with Kathy Hochul in New York and Janice Hahn in California. Soon we have the chance to add Suzanne Bonamici from Oregon to the list. The candidates we have lined up for the Senate are nothing short of amazing, with Mazie Hirono, Tammy Baldwin, Shelley Berkley, and Elizabeth Warren leading the way. But that great start is just that -- a start. We have enormous amounts of work to do in 2012. We need to train women to run for office at all levels. We need to conduct polling for key races all over the country. We need to plan get-out-the-vote campaigns to make sure that when Election Day comes in November, we are ready to win. EMILY's List has a long record of success, and our members are the core of what we accomplish, each and every year.
