In the shadow of the Intrepid, one of Hudson River Park's most exciting events returns to Pier 84. As the sun sets, the action rises, when amateur boxers from the New York area compete in the square circle. The ancient sport of Muay Thai kickboxing will debut as the featured style of this year's event.

Yes, you can fish in the Hudson River and it's better than ever at Hudson River Park! We provide rods, reels, bait and instruction. In the past 20 years New York City has added over 20,000 acres of parkland to its acclaimed public park system. Recent additions, such as the Hudson River Park, the Highline, and Brooklyn Bridge Park represent a new generation of park design as well as financing and administration.

Join the Commissioner of the Department of Parks & Recreation, Adrian Benepe,Yale University urban planning profesor, Alexander Garvin, and Executive Director of the City Parks AllianceCatherine Nagel, as they discuss the past, present, and future of New York's public parks.

The musuem has graciously extended their member prices our supporters! Anyone who mentions Friends of Hudson River Park will be able to purchase tickets for only $6 each.
