NYC Rules Updates - Week Ending August 26, 2011
The following update lists (1) all City agency proposed rules that remain open for written public comment, and (2) all agency adopted rules that will soon take effect.

Proposed Rules Open for Written Public Comment
- EEO Certificates of Compliance, Reports and Client Services and Emergency Contracts (SBS) - Written comments must be submitted by Sept. 21, 2011.
- City-Aided Limited-Profit Housing Companies (HPD) - Written comments must be submitted by Sept. 13, 2011.
- ECB's Sewer Control Rules Penalty Schedule (OATH/ECB) - Written comments must be submitted by Sept. 13, 2011.
- Tests Performed by Elevator Inspection Agencies (DOB) - Written comments must be submitted by Sept. 9, 2011.
- Owner Must Drive-Inheriting Spouse (TLC) - Written comments must be submitted by Sept. 5, 2011.
- Foreclosure by Action in Rem (DOF) - Written comments must be submitted by Sept. 1, 2011.

- Mandatory Penalties (TLC) - Rule takes effect August 31, 2011
