The National Republican Senatorial Committee made great gains in 2010 nearly taking back the Senate, but our job is only half done. In 2012 the task is even greater but our early efforts are already putting us in a good position.
Your early support allowed us to launch an agressive early education campaign this week highlighting the liberal and fiscally reckless records of two Democrat Senate candidates.
One of those Senators, Senator Claire McCaskill, has now decided in dramatic fashion that the rules don't apply to her. After admitting that she broke Senate ethics rules, Senator McCaskill is now refusing to release any additional information regarding her questionable shell companies.
Worst of all, she revealed that she "forgot" to pay almost $300,000 in taxes on her private plane!?
Its clear Claire McCaskill has no concern with following the rules or being transparent about any of her Senate dealings, but if enough of us join together in calling for her to release these business records, the media will be unable to ignore our collective pleas. This is why we are calling on each of you to go to http://ClaireAir.com and sign the petition.
Another liberal, Democratic Party Chairman Tim Kaine, is flirting with the idea of moving from carrying the political water for his liberal leaders Pelosi, Reid, and Obama; to doing their bidding in the Senate.
The NRSC wants to remind Virginians of just how recklessly liberal Tim Kaine has been as the left's Cheerleader-in-Chief these past two years. Visit http://cheerleaderinchief.com to watch our web video and sign up for updates.
We will also be launching an early "education" program targeting some of the liberal senators up in 2012 for their Obamacare, Spending, and Energy votes. A contribution of just $5 will help fund one day's worth of search ads for a liberal senator.
Thanks for your support,
Rob Jesmer
