These new Republicans make Sarah Palin sound measured and reasonable.
They're wholly-owned by corporate special interests, and they're spending a mountain of campaign cash and unleashing a torrent of smear jobs to elect the most radical roster of candidates ever.
But here's the good news. It's not working.
Democrats have taken a relentless pounding, but the polls are still neck-and-neck in the battleground districts that will determine who controls Congress. It's all coming down to whichever side pounds the pavement in these final weeks.

The Republicans want to undo everything we've done. They want to repeal health care reform, privatize Social Security, end Medicare as we know it, give tax cuts to billionaires, and preserve tax breaks for corporations that ship our jobs overseas. You won't find any of that on bumper stickers but they've said clearly that's their agenda.
This election is simply too important for grassroots Democrats to sit on the sidelines while the corporate special interests try and fund a Republican takeover of the House.
