This year I have been inundated with countless requests from political candidates seeking my assistance in raising funds for their campaign. I rarely do agree to do them except in extraordinary circumstances.
This year, I have decided to support a candidate who can be best described as an extraordinary man who was born for public service. The New York City community should be thankful that Guiillermo Linares wants to go to Albany and shake things up there. This is absolutely the man that can do it.
His intellect, his sense of integrity and his experience from being a local school administrator to a New York City Council member to being appointed a Commissioner for Immigrant Affairs, all points to one thing: We need to get this guy to Albany now!
That is why I am asking you to join me with Queens Borough President Helen Marshal, State Senator Jose Peralta, Councilwoman Julissa Ferreas on September 9, 2010 at 6:00 PM at the famous Rancho Jubile located at 2304 94th Avenue, East Elmhurst, Queens.I have attached a copy of the invitation so that you can also invite your firends to this exciting event.
I know that you are going to have great time and knowing that it is for a good cause makes it even better. If you cannot make it to the event,please send your donation to the campaign anyway so that we can get Guillermo to Albany.
