MY COUSIN FREDDIE?

00213528.gifAfter he was convicted of speeding by the Justice Court of the Town of Ramapo (Rockland County), Fred Shonfeld appealed to the Appellate Term, Second Department.

Because the Justice Court failed to inform Shonfeld of his right to counsel, the AT2 thought the guy may have been misled as to what could happen in his case.

Since the case should have been adjourned, to allow Shonfeld to get an attorney, the conviction was vacated and the matter send back for a new trial.

I'm finished with this guy.
