Hi Lucas ,
Five years have gone by since I ran for public office.
Time flies and I've been dedicated to a major NYC project that I created and will be presenting this year for the first time ever as Director of the Mayor's Latin Media and Entertainment Commission.
I'm proud to present the official Latin Media and Entertainment Week (LMEW) Web site.
LMEW WEB SITE: http://www.nyc.gov/lmew
The LMEW is a series of events from film, theater, dance, concerts, art, museum exhibits, networking events, business functions, and much more from October 4-10. Some events are open and free to the public, others are ticketed, others are at discounted prices, and a couple are private. The events, which happen during Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept. 15 - Oct. 15), are for all New Yorkers, tourists, and everyone to enjoy. The LMEW is expected to have a strong economic impact and enhance New York as the cultural capital and worldwide destination.
We have some LMEW PSAs, and you might be able to catch a glimpse on Channel 4 or NYC Media (Channel 25) with Miss Universe Stefania Fernandez.
For a quick NYC Media "That's So New York" interview with me and other folks log onto

I hope you get a chance to enjoy the events and to share the Web site with your friends and networks.
Regards,
Carlos Manzano
