After fighting for our district on the ground for nearly two decades, I've come to realize that the dysfunction and corruption at our State Capitol deeply affect not only our children's eduction, but also our housing environment, our public transportation system, and many other important issues. Put simply, if we really want to get things done at home, we first need to change the culture in Albany. That's why I'm running for office. With just one week to go before the primary, our grassroots campaign is planning an extensive Get Out The Vote operation. We will be making phone calls, observing poll sites, and bringing our supporters out to their polling locations.
