My opponent Dennis Ross has tried to run a campaign based on fiscal responsibility. But last week, the St. Petersburg Times reported that Dennis Ross was named a hero in a 2008 email circulated by judges for his part in securing money for the now infamous $48 million "Taj Mahal" courthouse in Tallahassee.
If this wasteful spending was not bad enough, Dennis Ross and other Tallahassee insiders helped sneak through the $48 million for this extravagant courthouse with 60-inch flat screen TVs and marble counter tops by attaching the funding to an unrelated transportation bill at the end of the 2007 legislative session. This is the same Dennis Ross who states on his website under "Principled Solutions" that earmarks must "go through an open vetting process."
If we get our message out and hold Dennis Ross accountable, I know we will win, but I need your help.
Thanks,
