Amazing! Thanks to you, we shattered another grassroots goal -- this time to fund get-out-the-vote organizers for all of our battleground districts before early voting started. We can't thank you enough. We also wanted to extend a special congratulations to Dorothea from Raleigh, North Carolina who has been chosen as our lucky winner to attend a dinner with President Obama next Wednesday. Thanks to all of you who entered to win! Now that early voting and campaign season is in full swing, we need your help across the country -- please get involved today.
Check out photos and video of organizers on the ground and sign up to volunteer in your area!
As we head down the home stretch, we're pleased to bring you this special race-review edition of @Stake, showing the political lay-of-the-land in our most hotly-contested battleground districts.Primary Day Recap
While last Tuesday was dominated by Sarah Palin helping Republicans snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in the Delaware Senate primary, Palin's path of political destruction in the First State wasn't the only big news of the night. House Republicans nominated their own roster of extremist candidates across the country. Here's a quick recap:
The Republican So-Called "winners":
- A former reality TV show star in Wisconsin, who supports a plan to privatize Social Security. More info >>
- An out of touch millionaire in New York, who made a fortune outsourcing American jobs. More info >>
- A tea party extremist in Delaware, who has a radical plan to drastically cut taxes on the rich increase the tax burden on middle class families. More info >>
- Republicans and pundits who claim the GOP will win back the House this year (for the reason why, note the list of winners).

Even after all those post-Citizens United shadow groups on the air with their attacks, the latest polls show that this year's midterms are a dead heat. And when you go district by district, Democrats are looking strong. Here is just a small sampling of polls showing Democrats in a strong position:
- Congressman Mark Critz leads by 7 points over his same Republican opponent who he defeated in May's special election.
- Congressman Tom Perriello is in a statistical dead-heat in Virginia's 5th.
- Congresswoman Dina Titus leads by 4 points in Nevada's 3rd.
District by district, your grassroots support is making a difference!
With just over six weeks to go, this is going to be a hard-fought sprint to the finish line. Stay tuned for the next edition of @Stake and thanks again for all that you do to protect our strong Democratic House Majority.
Onward to Victory!
