DID YOU KNOW THAT OVER 2.5 MILLION MEALS WERE SERVED TO HUNGRY CHILDREN IN WESTCHESTER COUNTY LAST YEAR?
Concerned children, parents and businesses in Chappaqua are hosting a bake sale to support Share Our Strength's Great American Bake Sale campaign and its No Kid Hungry initiative to end childhood hunger by 2015.
Share Our Strength is the leading national organization working to make sure no child in America grows up hungry by surrounding kids with nutritious food where they live, learn and play. The Great American Bale Sale is a national effort that encourages Americans to host bake sales to raise funds to help end childhood hunger. Since 2003, more than 1.3 million people have participated in the Great American Bake Sale, raising $6 million.
The Great Chappaqua Bakesale will be held on Saturday, October 2 from 10 am - 3 pm at 77 South Greeley Avenue (in front of the Nicolaysen Agency building).
