Dear Lucas,
The momentum is building in our campaign for Congress.
Monday morning, the Washington Post ran an article naming our campaign as one of the top opportunities to win a Republican held seat in the whole country.
The Washington Post knows that this is one of the most competitive races in the whole country - will you click here to contribute $25, $100, $250 or whatever you can to keep the momentum growing?
On Monday evening, Mayor Callahan took charge in the first debate with Congressman Charlie Dent and Tea Party candidate Jake Towne.
During the debate, Congressman Dent said that he "will vote for John Boehner" for Speaker, and that this is "the most important vote" in Congress. Boehner supports irresponsible plans to gamble Social Security on Wall Street through privatization and increase the retirement age to 70. Mayor Callahan couldn't disagree with him more.
John believes the most important issue facing this country is job creation. That's why he focused on his five point jobs plan during the debate. Congressman Dent has just been in Washington too long to get it.
Despite the fact that Congressman Dent has taken over $1.7 million from Wall Street and Corporate Special Interests, we're neck and neck with him because of your support. Will you contribute $25, $100, or $250 right now to help us win this election?
Thank you for standing with us,
Justin Schall
Campaign Manager
Callahan for Congress
P.S. The Washington Post knows that we can win this race, and your contribution of $25, $100, $250 or whatever you can afford will help us do succeed.
