Dear Lucas,
Last week, the Senate voted down the Creating American Jobs and Ending Offshoring Act, which would have created jobs here in the US and penalized companies that send jobs overseas. This is unacceptable.
If that wasn't enough, my opponent said he doesn't support the bill and he would have voted against it. This is a bill that would put Americans back to work and prevent those jobs, and more, from going overseas -- and he would vote against it? This is unacceptable.
This fight against the jobs bill was led by none other than John Boehner -- who happens to be one of my opponents biggest financiers. My opponent has taken over $30,000 from the Boehner and the Republican Party leadership. The same leadership that wants to ship jobs overseas AND reward companies for doing so. This is unacceptable.
We shouldn't be represented by politicians that want to get rid of American jobs! We can and must do better!
