This is it! We are in the homestretch to Election Day and the races are extraordinarily close. That's why we need a strong effort to GET OUT THE VOTE on Tuesday.
We are in this together. EVERY DEMOCRAT MUST WIN to defend the livelihoods of hard-working families and progress for the middle class. At stake: the historic healthcare reform, improved student loans, investments in job creation and much needed Wall Street reform.
The HOPE and CHANGE we voted for in 2008 are being threatened. The GOP is pledging to go back to their same old agenda - which would take us back to the failed policies that drove our economy into a ditch in the first place.
For months, many of you have been helping the President and my colleagues in Congress to move America forward. We need every one of you now to stop Republicans from taking America backward.
