IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR REGISTERED VOTERS IN THE CITY OF NEW YORK Most of the attention this election season has been focused on the races for offices that appear on the front of the ballot. HOWEVER, there are two important questions that will change the City Charter that appear on the BACK of the ballot. We urge all property owners to vote NO on Question 2. If adopted, Question 2 would mark the first time that the City law would require individuals to adhere to campaign finance disclosure requirements under threat of CIVIL PENALTY or CRIMINAL PROSECUTION for non-compliance. The Amendment would drastically change the disclosure requirements and make it even more difficult to become involved in elections that may affect your bottom line. | |
