Career Gear is a national nonprofit organization that provides business attire, interview counseling, mentoring and job retention services to disadvantaged men. Since 1999, they have served over 25,000 men nationwide. In New York alone, they served 2,018 men, 60% of whom found employment. Additionally, Career Gear provides resource workshops that focus on financial literacy, fatherhood and child support, and personal responsibility. Men attending these workshops have not only held jobs but have made significant strides in becoming better employees, fathers, and community leaders. These workshops empower men to become fully involved in the lives of their families.
A suit is just the beginning of a man's "second chance"...
If you plan to donate any suits/items or if you have any questions about the suit drive, please e-mail Javier Vargas or Frank Cruz at info@prba.net .
