This Tuesday, you have a chance to do something a little different when you go to vote:
Vote for Andrew Cuomo, Eric Schneiderman, Tom DiNapoli, and my good friend Cathy Nolan on the Working Families Party line - Row E.
When you vote for Democratic candidates on the WFP line (Row E), your vote counts the same, AND it sends a powerful progressive message. Like me, each of these terrific candidates supports marriage equality, and so does the WFP.
But don't just take it from me!
Actor and activist Matt Damon is a Working Families voter too, and he recorded a special message for New Yorkers. Check it out here:

On your ballot this year, you'll see candidates like Andrew Cuomo and Eric Schneiderman listed under both the Democratic Party (row "A" on the ballot) AND the Working Families Party (row "E"). Even if you usually vote Democrat (or Republican!), please join me by skipping to the Working Families Party line, row "E," and filling in the ovals for your candidates there instead.
When the WFP gets a solid vote, it helps Democrats stand up to the Tea Party agenda that threatens to overwhelm sensible, fair government.
Remember, this Tuesday Andrew Cuomo, Cathy Nolan, Tom DiNapoli, Eric Schneiderman, Chuck Schumer, Kirsten Gillibrand, Michael Gianaris, and others will appear on Row A (Democrat) and Row E (Working Families).
Your vote on Row E counts the same, but it tells candidates to fight, really fight, for good jobs, good schools, and good government.
