On Thursday, December 2, in observance of Chanukah, the Jewish festival of lights, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz will help light Brooklyn's official 29-foot menorah in front of the Supreme Court building in Columbus Park/Borough Hall Plaza.

The ceremony will be led by Rabbi Aaron L. Raskin of Congregation B'nai Avraham, and holiday refreshments will be provided.
