Dear friends. I hope all is well with you and the family.
I wanted to invite you to be part of our 2010 Annual "Giving Thanks." Every year, I ask friends, family and colleagues in the struggle (for a better community) to donate to this program, which has provided over 600 low-income families from The Bronx and Manhattan with free turkeys every Thanksgiving. I understand the economy is hurting us all so this year, we have decided to make the ask and let you decide how much you can contribute to this cause. For every $25 you donate, we are able to provide a turkey and food basket to a needy families.
The distribution has been scheduled to take place on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 23RD at 6pm at the Montecarloroom in the Bronx. This year, we will also have with us our main sponsor, Dominican merengue/bachata artist Hector Acosta "El Torito." Our other sponsor (thus far) include our dear friends at Cibao Meat.
We hope you can support this great event and help us provide a needy Bronx family with a turkey and decent meal for the holiday.
