COOLING CENTERS OPEN TO HELP NEW YORKERS STAY COOL
New York City cooling centers are open Monday, June 28, as hot and humid weather moves into the area. Temperatures will climb into the low to mid-90s, with heat indices in the upper 90s or 100s. Stay out of the sun if possible and remember to drink plenty of water. Check on neighbors who may be vulnerable to the heat.
