Hello Friends,I know its a bit last minute, but I'd like to extend an invitation to a special event to benefit Doctors Without Borders and The Lambi Fund of Haiti.
The last several days have been stunning: not only in the magnitude of the tragedy unfolding in Haiti, but with the generous response of people from every walk of life from around the world.
DJ Spooky, Stretch Armstrong, Kevin Powell, Marc Ecko, myself and many others are putting together an event on short notice to help route material and financial aid to Haiti. The event is supported by the Haitian Embassy in NY, and there will be a lot of information and people connected to the relief effort under one roof. I hope you can join us.
There will be great DJ sets by DJ Spooky, Stretch Armstrong, and DJ Bev Bond, and above all, 100% of the evening's proceeds will go to the relief effort.
