In Matter of Morgan P. , the Erie County Family Court found a mother guilty of neglect when the dad established -- by a preponderance of the evidence -- that the woman had "coached" her child to falsely accuse a relative of sexual abuse.
On appeal, the Appellate Division, Fourth Department, agreed that the mother failed to give the child "proper supervision or guardianship," particularly in view of the unnecessary medical examinations which the youngster experienced and the "extreme anxiety" suffered.
That wasn't one for the Gipper.
