WANNA WORK FOR A FEDERAL JUDGE?

PRBA_email_banner_puerto_rican_bar_nyreblog_com_.jpgThe Puerto Rican Bar Association (PRBA) is proud to announce its co-sponsorship of the Joint Minority Bar Judicial Internship Program (JMB JIP). Since the program's creation in 2004 by the PRBA, the Association of Judges of Hispanic Heritage (AJHH) and Mayer Brown, numerous students have been placed with distinguished judges at the federal, state and local levels.

This program offers minority students who have completed at least one year of law school the unique opportunity to continue their legal education as summer interns in New York area courthouses. Last year, the program placed 19 students.

Participating federal judges are currently conducting their summer "hiring," and we are extending the application deadline until February 19, 2010.

More information and application materials can be downloaded here or at www.prba.net .

This year's co-sponsors are the AJHH, the Asian American Bar Association of New York and the Asian American Law Fund of New York.
