"The mission of the Lathrope Voorspuy Memorial Scholarship Fund will be to encourage grass-roots activism by underwriting community members in selected programs that train for community organization or for political candidacies."

 

Names of candidates must be submitted by March 14, 2010.

The winner of the $1,000 scholarship will be announced at the Award Presentation Breakfast will be on Saturday, May 22, 2010. The event will be used to raise funds for the next award.
