Today we are proud to launch our first edition of "Ask your Advocate," a regular online video addressing current issues affecting New Yorkers.
In this edition, Bill presents information on how Haitian Immigrants can utilize temporary protected status which has been granted by the Federal Government to all Haitians who have been in residence since January 21, 2010. The message includes upcoming free citizenship consultations sponsored by the Legal Aid Society and features Rev. Nathanael Saint-Pierre, Priest in Charge of the Haitain Congregation of the Good Samaritan Church in the Bronx, who provides a Creole translation.
