UNDER ATTACK BY "EXTREMISTS"

Schauer_congress_email_banner_nyreblog_com_.jpgDear Lucas,

While we won't know the name of Mark's general election opponent until tomorrow night, we already know it will be an extremist who just doesn't get it.

Tim Walberg and Brian Rooney have been attacking each other in TV ads for weeks, without ever mentioning the word jobs. I don't know what planet these guys are living on, but by ignoring the number one issue in this election, it's clear they don't have any clue how to get our economy back on track.

Mark is ready to hit the ground running next week to let voters know he's fighting every single day to level the playing field so our businesses can create jobs here - not China. But we're counting on your support with a contribution of $25, $50, $100, or whatever you can afford to help us spread this message across the state.

We're already under attack. The Tea Party group "Americans for Prosperity" is planning rallies in the district next week to distort Mark's record of fighting for Michigan jobs. What they don't want you to know is that this is a front group for a company that actually received an award for outsourcing American jobs to China.

Both of Mark's extreme opponents have pledged to defend tax loopholes for companies that ship jobs overseas, so it's clear whose side they're on.

Mark Schauer knows he works for the people of Michigan, not the powerful special interests that want to ship our jobs to China. Will you stand with Mark so he can keep fighting for American jobs by making a contribution of $25, $50, $100 or whatever you can afford?

We know we can win this November - but we can't do it without support from people like you.

Thank you,

Andrew Piatt
Campaign Manager
Schauer for Congress

P.S. New political front groups like the one created by Karl Rove are popping up every day to defeat candidates like Mark. Will you help make sure we have the resources we need to fight back by making a contribution right now?
