But now we've learned that Carly Fiorina and the National Republican Senatorial Committee have already reserved $7 million in TV time themselves, for just the last few weeks of the election. That means two things: Carly Fiorina is writing herself a big check, and there's undoubtedly millions more to come to cover the rest of the fall campaign.
We can't afford to let Fiorina crowd us out on the airwaves.
That's why, today, we are setting up a special grassroots media fund to fight back against Fiorina's bottomless checkbook. And we need to raise an extra $100,000 online before Monday from friends like you to make sure we can get Barbara Boxer's message out.

What Fiorina has already reserved in California's top four media markets will reach 85% of the voters for a few weeks, but this is most likely just a down payment. We don't know exactly how much of her personal fortune Fiorina is willing to spend to win -- but it's likely to be millions more.
Our grassroots media fund will help ensure that we can advertise on TV, radio, and the web to make sure we're not drowned out by Fiorina's spending in the fall. We know that Barbara's record of accomplishment and her vision for the future will appeal to the voters -- if we have the resources to show them the clear choice they have in this election.
While we don't have Fiorina's bottomless checkbook, we do have something she'll never match: the power of thousands of grassroots supporters, in every county in the state and every state in the union. We have you.
