White House Requests Your Input: How the U.S. Can Enhance Its Advanced Manufacturing Capability? The President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST) is conducting a study on how the nation can enhance its advanced manufacturing capabilities. PCAST has launched a Web site to gather public opinion and is asking several questions in the following categories:
- Development of new manufacturing technologies
- Support for new manufacturing firms
- Support for existing manufacturing firms
- National manufacturing strategy
Your input will help PCAST develop recommendations for the President on this topic, and in turn impact the future of U.S. advanced manufacturing.
PCAST asks that participants provide responses by 5:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on Tuesday, April 20, 2010.
