usa_gov_logo_nyreblog_com_.gifThe Department of Health and Human Services'  Office of Minority Health (OMH)  is the nation's largest repository of information on health issues specific to African Americans, American Indians/Alaska Natives, Asian Americans, Hispanics, Native Hawaiians, and other Pacific Islanders.

The OMH resource center collects and distributes information on a wide variety of health topics. These include cancer, cardiovascular disease and stroke, diabetes, suicide, unintentional injuries, HIV/AIDS, infant mortality, substance abuse and a host of others. The resource center can provide database searches, funding searches, and current data and statistics on a variety of health conditions and issues affecting racial and ethnic minorities.
