The colloquium will be moderated by Stephanie Nilva, Esq., executive director of Day One, and the panel will include representatives from the New York Civil Liberties Union, the Mayor's Office to Combat Domestic Violence, the Kings County District Attorney's Office and the Bureau of Epidemiology Services.

According to the Columbia Center for Youth Violence, among students with a dating history, more than half reported experiencing physical dating violence; and 32 percent of students, both males and females, reported perpetrating one of more episodes of physical violence against their partners in the last year.
