7 Days to Go -- My Son Will Make a Great Comptroller
Dear Lucas,
I am so proud of my son and the great team he has assembled around his campaign for City Comptroller.
As David's mother I may be biased, but I know my son has the honesty and integrity we need in our next comptroller. It's a value we worked hard to instill in him growing up, and one that he has clearly shown to have throughout his career in public service.
Well known in his Brooklyn City Council district, David had to take on the much larger stage of a citywide race. And he did it!
Getting the attention of thousands of thoughtful voters and the endorsement of the New York Times, Senator Chuck Schumer, and Russell Simmons among others. Wow! The Grey Lady, one of our nation's finest leaders, and an incredible entrepreneur all want to back David. "Sweet" as my granddaughters might say.
In 7 days, we will elect our next City Comptroller in the Democratic primary runoff. Since last Tuesday's primary, our Campaign has knocked on more than 20,000 doors and made over 50,000 phone calls. But to win we need your help.
Please consider joining us at one of our volunteer phone banks across the city or talking to your neighbors to remind people to get out and vote. If you're strapped for time, then please consider forwarding along this email to your contacts.
