New York City, November 16, 2009 - New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) today issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) to identify developers or users for seven sites in the East New York Industrial Business Zone (IBZ). The vacant, City-owned parcels range in size from 2,000 square feet to 19,000 square feet. All the lots are zoned for light industrial manufacturing uses. In addition to being located in the East New York IBZ, the sites are also within East New York II Urban Renewal Area or the Brownsville II Urban Renewal Area, and the East Brooklyn Empire Zone.
