In Siri v. Princeton Club of N.Y. , a group of female banquet servers sued the Princeton Club of New York for "gender discrimination."
Although the Club typically used a seniority-based assignment system for its banquet functions, the ladies claimed men (with lower seniority) were getting all the work.
After the New York County Supreme Court dismissed the case, the ladies appealed to the Appellate Division, First Department, which was of the view there were unresolved questions as to how the seniority system operated and whether the Club actually adhered to that system.
Under God's power will Princeton flourish?
