On Thursday, May 21, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz will join Century 21 Department Stores for a ribbon cutting ceremony officially opening the Brooklyn location's newly expanded Home Store, Shoe Store and indoor parking garage.

Century 21 Department Stores opened its Brooklyn and Manhattan locations in 1962 and, despite the difficult economy, continues to expand and create jobs, adding 30,000 square feet to the Bay Ridge store and planning to open its sixth location in Rego Park, Queens this fall.
