CAPS Seeking Nominations for Citation Recognizing Special Achievements

by Public Sector Attorneys

 

 

The New York State Bar Association's Committee on Attorneys in Public Service (CAPS) is seeking nominations for its inaugural Citation for Special Achievement in Public Service.  This citation will be presented annually to public service attorneys in recognition of a unique or special achievement, which may include leadership of a particular project or initiative, or making a key contribution in connection with a project or initiative.  Presentation of the citation will be announced in the New York State Bar News, on the CAPS website, and in CAPS' Government, Law & Policy Journal.

 

Nominations for the 2009 Citation for Special Achievement in Public Service must be submitted by Friday, April 10, 2009.  To submit a nomination, please complete the nomination form and mail it to:

The Citation for Special Achievement in Public Service is presented by CAPS, in addition to its annual Award for Excellence in Public Service, which recognizes continuous excellence in and commitment to public service. The 2009 Citation will be presented on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at the New York State Bar Center in Albany.
