Dear Graduates:
The Brooklyn Law School Student Bar Association is hosting the Fourth Annual Race Judicata on Sunday, April 19, 2009 at Prospect Park in Brooklyn. Race Judicata is a charity event and BBQ that is open to the Brooklyn Law School community and the public. This has been one of our largest and most successful events every year and we expect over 300 runners to cross the finish in 2009!
All proceeds from the race are in memory of BLS Professor Barry Zaretsky and will go to benefit the Urban Assembly School of Law and Justice, a public high school for low-income students wishing to study law. To make this event truly successful, we are seeking runner participation and team sponsorships from alumni like you.
Please join us as a runner or sponsor a team of runners:
Platinum: Premier Logo on the back of the t-shirts: $1000 (unlimited runners from your firm, company, or family)
Gold: Logo filling a half-line on the back of the t-shirts: $500 (you may send up to 25 runners)
Silver: Logo filling a quarter-line on the back of the t-shirts: $250 (you may send up to 12 runners)
Bronze: Plain text logo on the back of the t-shirts: $100 (you may send up to 5 runners)
Individuals: The cost for individual runners is $20 per participant.
All runners will receive a number and commemorative t-shirt, and are welcome at the post-race BBQ and awards ceremony.
In order for the t-shirts to be printed in time for the race, we must receive your sponsorship sign-ups by March 30, 2009. We are very flexible with any sponsorship ideas and arrangements you may have. Payments may be made on our website ( www.brooklynsba.org ) via Paypal or via check made out to Brooklyn Law School Student Bar Association, and mailed to:
