Campaign Update ....

The Special Election may be over in terms of casting your vote but there is more work to be done. On Wednesday our campaign will be at the Board of Elections to make sure that each and every vote is properly counted. The unofficial tally shows our campaign only 91 votes from a victory and there are still 500 absentee, soldier and affidavit ballots that still have not been counted. All the ballots will be recounted as well. We can expect the tally will change and we want our campaign to be well represented and protected through the process. With just three days left before the counting begins we'll need to raise money for the Legal Team ....

Please join us Monday night from 7PM to 9PM at the home of Sally and David Jones in St. George for a fund raiser to help support the Debi Rose Legal Team:

UPDATE (3/2/09)

Here's the text of e-mail we received earlier today from the The Debie Rose campaign team:

Many of you have been calling and emailing about the fundraiser tonight. While we are so grateful that so many of you are willing to come out in the snow and cold in support of our campaign we have decided to postpone the fundraiser. We need all of you to stay warm, healthy and safe in the coming days as there is still a lot of work to be done!

On Wednesday our campaign will be at the Board of Elections to make sure that each and every vote is properly counted. The unofficial tally shows our campaign only 91 votes from a victory and there are still 500 absentee, soldier and affidavit ballots that still have not been counted. All the ballots will be recounted as well. We can expect the tally will change and we want our campaign to be well represented and protected through the process. With just less then two days before the counting begins we'll need to raise money for the Legal Team but your safety and health comes first!
