Transportation
You won't find it hard to navigate around Boston, as it is friendly to all modes of transportation. The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) operates what was the first underground rapid transit system in the U.S., and is now the fourth busiest rapid transit system in the country. If you need to take a plane to get to Massachusetts, you will most likely be flying into Boston's main airport, Logan International Airport. From the airport you can take MBTA's silver line to your destination. You can also opt to take a taxi from the airport to your destination. Nicknamed "The Walking City," you can get around Boston easily by foot. Just remember to bring a map because Boston's streets were grown organically rather than planned into a grid system, so it's easy to get turned around. With all of these transportation options, it is easy to be green in Boston.

Sightseeing

June weather in Massachusetts is often quite lovely, so touring the city by foot is always a fun option. Due to the city's long history, Boston's buildings showcase many eras and styles of architecture. Visit the Paul Revere House, which was built in 1680, and then travel to Faneuil Hall, a well-known stop on the Freedom Trail. Boston is home to some of the world's best universities, including Harvard University, Boston University, and MIT. Take a tour of the campuses or stop by to purchase a t-shirt. Boston residents are big sports fans. Visit Fenway Park for a tour of the Red Sox home, or extend your trip and attend a game.
