Please join Bob and Cynthia King for a reception from 5 to 7 pm at the Cynthia King Dance Studio at XXX Prospect Avenue (Brooklyn). The reception will feature clips from the movie Blinders: the Truth Behind the Tradition, a documentary about the New York City horse and carriage trade. Anti-carriage horse activist, Jill Weitz, who appears in the film, will speak at the reception. The cost of the reception is $10 and all proceeds will go to benefit Bob's campaign. (For directions to the Dance Studio, click here: http://www.cynthiakingdance.com/directionsmap.html )

Even if you can't make any of these events, please consider making a donation to the campaign this week.  There is an important fundraising deadline approaching this Saturday, July 11.  Let's demonstrate the support that Bob has for his historic campaign from people both inside and outside the district. To contribute on the campaign's secure website (or to print out a contribution form), please visit http://www.zuckerman2009.com/home/donation_page.php .  The City will match your contribution (up to $175) at a rate of $6 to $1! (The maximum contribution permitted by law is $2,750.)
