On Tuesday, July 28, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz will join Lou-Ellen Barkan, president and CEO of the Alzheimer's Association, New York City Chapter, for a press conference at Borough Hall to announce the first ever "Memory Walk in Brooklyn Hosted by the Brooklyn Cyclones."
On August 9, hundreds of New Yorkers will take the field at KeySpan Park in this one-mile Memory Walk around the warning track to help raise funds and awareness in the fight against Alzheimer's disease. The walk will precede the Sunday game against the Jamestown Jammers.
