Friends,

The race for New York City Comptroller is heating up as the economy has put sound financial leadership at the top of voters' agendas.  We are working hard to capitalize on this heightened interest and to run a genuine grassroots campaign built on active volunteer support.  At subway stops, supermarkets, and parades, loyal supporters like you have joined David in meeting and inspiring people.  Thank you for your continued support.

We now need your help to build a solid, citywide ground operation operation for Election Day and the week leading up to it.  To achieve that, we need to engage new volunteers.  Once they hear David's message, we're confident they will join us in helping to spread it.  Please bring your friends and neighbors to join David at a meet and greet on the Upper West Side:

Date: Monday, July 27, 2009
Time: 6:00-8:00 PM
Location: Susan Eley Fine Art Gallery, 46 West 90th Street, 2nd floor
Hosts: Susan Eley, Earl Scott, Aaron Harnich, Ezra Levine, Andrew Harms, Jeremy Berman, and Jeff Williams

RSVP at http://www.davidyassky.com/page/s/uwsjuly27 if you would like to join us -- even if you're not 100% sure you can come.

Please also bring five guests along to meet David  and hear his vision for the Comptroller's office, among the most powerful elected positions in New York.  With your help and hard work over the next 50 days, David will win the Democratic nomination on September 15th. Thank you so much for your continued commitment, and I look forward to seeing you on the 27th.
