Here's an event invite forwarded to us by a reader:
I wanted to quickly remind you that the REaL Networking Wine Tasting is set to take place this coming Monday evening, July 13th, from 6:00 to 8:30 PM.
The tasting will be held at the Galway Hooker,
I'm also pleased to announce that Tasos Sengos, a certified Sommelier of over 25 years, will be on hand to help educate us on what we are drinking and answer any questions that we may have about the many nuances of wine culture.
Tasos has selected an assortment of top rated South American wines for the tasting and believe me when I say that wines are both exceptional and unique.
In addition to the wine tasting which will be run throughout the event, a full (open)bar and hors d'oeuvres will be served as well.
The event which is being held for REaL Networking members will be open to guests on an invite only basis.
The select guests who have been invited to join us for this event are professionals who will enhance the networking opportunities for all attendee's.
It is our goal to not only provide an evening of education and fun, but also a networking opportunity that will be diverse and will have a balanced ratio of professionals and so while I invite you to pass this email along to your friends and colleagues, I do ask that you let me know who is planning to attend so we can avoid having too many professionals in certain fields and ensure that all guests fit the REaL Networking model.
If you'd like to join us as a guest the cost is $35 in advance and $45 on the day of the event and this fee covers not only entry and networking but the open bar, wine tasting, and hors d'oeuvres.
Please RSVP your reply so that I may send you an invoice and print your nametag.

Oh and by the way, a Galway Hooker is a traditional Irish sailboat known for its distinctive and beautiful sail formation. (figured I'd mention this because the name suggests it may be a different kind of institution all together...).
