Here's an announcement we received from Congressman Eric Massa (NY 29th):
Dear Friends,
On Monday, January 26th from 12:30 - 2:00 pm, we'll be holding a local swearing-in ceremony at the Monroe County Hall of Justice in Room 404. I chose to do this because you deserve the opportunity to take part in this democratic process and meet your member of Congress. There will be a free and open lunch reception following the event. In a display of bi-partisanship, the oath of office will be administered by Republican Judge John J. Ark. This event will also be attended by a number of local elected officials. We will also be holding similar events in different parts of the district in the near future.
