OUT AT WORK

hdr_gvccc_home.gifThe Chamber and its partner, The LGBT Community Center, invite you to participate in the largest LGBT Job Fair in the Northeast.

LGBT_Out_to_Work_Logo_09_nyreblog_com_.jpgMost successful business owners recognize the importance of diversity in the workplace. People with different backgrounds and experiences bring different perspectives and approaches to problem solving. This often leads to better, more creative decisions and a more successful enterprise.

Nowhere in the country, perhaps the world, can a neighborhood claim a more concentrated, well-educated, engaged, and influential LGBT constituency than does Greenwich Village and Chelsea. If you run a business in our city, you ignore this powerful group at your peril.

Recognizing this important fact, two years ago the Greenwich Village-Chelsea Chamber of Commerce founded Out To Work. For two years running this event was one of the most successful of its kind, and this year, with The Center as our partner, it is poised to become the most important LGBT career fair in the nation.
