NORMAN STORMIN' TO BE PUBLIC ADVOCATE

norman_siegel_public_advocate_nyreblog_com_.pngDear Friends,

There's less than month left in the campaign.  We're working hard at Norman's headquarters so we can elect him our Public Advocate.  In these last 28 days before the primary, we're going to need your help more than ever.

Join Norman, please e-mail Andrew if you're available to volunteer at our office or at events around the city.  There is plenty to do, we need phonebankers, canvassers, and more.  Now is the time for our big push.

We have two big events tomorrow, Wednesday:

At 2PM, at City Hall - Join Habitat for Humanity NYC, the Interfaith Assembly, East Side Congregations for Housing Justice, Housing First!, Housing Here and Now, Tenants and Neighbors, Supportive Housing Network of New York, Pratt Area Community Council, and others at a rally calling upon New York to make a substantial commitment of funds for the preservation and creation of more affordable housing.  More information on the event here .

At 7PM, at Pace University - The Manhattan Young Dems are holding a Public Advocate forum at 1 Pace Plaza, at Spruce Street.  Come out and support Norman at this public event!

Brooklyn Dominican Parade:

On Sunday, starting at noon Norman will be marching in the The Brooklyn Dominican Parade, which starts at Graham Avenue & Broadway. (J/M to Flushing Ave.)  Come join us.

Subway Series Continues...

All week, Norman will continue shaking hands and talking to voters at subway stops. See if he'll be coming to your neighborhood at our subway schedule.   On Wednesday morning at the 125th Street A/B/C/D we'll have a reporter from the Gotham Gazette interviewing Norman, so that's a great time to come out and show your support.

Norman on The Huffington Post

Norman penned an op-ed for The Huffington Post today on NYC Stop & Frisks.  Please read it and share with your friends.
